"It is with deep regret that I inform you of the passing of Officer William Nolan badge number 133. Bill passed away on Sunday night; surrounded by his loving family. Bill was sworn in as a Somerville Police Officer on March 4, 1985 and proudly served the city of Somerville, as one of Somerville’s finest for over twenty five years.

Bill leaves his wife Rose (Sillari), daughters Christine and Tara, son Billy, and five grandchildren. Bill was more than a Somerville Police Officer; he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all of us. Bill was always positive, friendly and very funny to be around. He served our country as a United States Marine; and always maintained that military bearing and command presence.....

 

In closing, I ask that you keep the Nolan family in your thoughts and prayers."
